Customer 1: Excellent Results Every Time
I cannot rate this breadmaker highly enough and have had superb results every time. I do agree that the fastbake recipies are not very good but then what do you really expect in 1 hour. If you really do want a bland tasting white loaf then its much quicker to pop to your corner shop and buy one, this only takes 10 minutes so why wait an hour for one? Joking aside if you are going to buy a breadmaker only to make a basic white loaf then my advice is to stick to your shop bought white sliced but if you are looking to make some great tasting interesting breads then a breadmaker is for you.
The machine is well made and performs as intended and has a nice modern design which looks good in any kitchen. The recipe booklet that comes with it has some nice basic recipies which can be adapted to your own tastes after you have grasped the basics, Adding sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, oats and other ingredients to any of the included recipies greatly improves the bread giving a fantastic taste and texture. To get more recipies browse the internet where you can find a wealth of recipies for you to try out.
Customer 2: Miraculous!
Easy to use, producing delicious home-made bread every time. The cakes are excellent, too. Just treat yourself to this amazing machine! The basic recipes given in the leaflet are a bit too sweet for us, so have reduced the sugar. It takes just a minute or two to pop in the ingredients and push the buttons.
Forget about the gimmicky one-hour Fastbake, that's the only downer. We tried it first when the machine arrived, and nearly sent it back. But we soon discovered the normal 3 hour recipes give fabulous results. Unlike many gadgets, this gets used almost every day. If you have a small kitchen, it's a more compact design than most breadmakers.
My Nan used to spend all afternoon making bread, she would consider this machine as a miracle box. It's so good that we push the supermarket trolley past the bread, heading straight for the flour. Top quality, top value, top results...and it's fun!
Customer 3: Absloute Bargain...a little gem
I bought this bread maker as it had good reviews on Amazon and the fact that it was cheap [in case it was a 5 minute wonder!] What a gem. I was told by all that it would be a 'waste of money' they were 'too much fuss' and it was 'easier to buy a loaf'! All rubbish.
The cup and spoons provided mean no weighing. The simple instructions meant my first loaf was made 3 hours after I got it home. Friends [who all seem to have a redundant bread maker in a cupboard somewhere] have extolled the taste and texture of the bread. remarking that theirs didn't come close.
If your idea of heaven is a warm buttery piece of home cooked bread [the raisin bread is divine] then don't hesitate!
